Karen is a talented chef. Her cooking is healthy, delicious, always satisying....and it's affordable. She can be counted on to use the freshest ingredients and has a great sense of seasoning. Karen is a fantastic chef.  I used her for a dinner/wine five course pairing for a dinner group of 10.  She presented me with many many options, of which she and I chose 5.  Each dish was delicious, unique, memorable.  The food was all presented in a very pleasing manner.  Do not miss the shiitake mushroom bruschetta.  Fantastic.  We will continue to use her services for similar get togethers.-John and Sherene, Chapel Hill

I hired The Fork and Knife Chef for a birthday present and her private cooking class was phenomenal. Not only did she come prepared with cooking utensils she also purchased harder to find ingredients and guided me in choosing recipes both my boyfriend and I could enjoy (we have very different tastes.) She also provided us with great advice on how to find fresh ingredients and how to make cooking easier. To top it off, she was extremely affordable and willing to work within the budget I had set. I really wanted to let you know how happy I was with the event.
